My Grilled Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, Spanish Onion and Kaffir Lime Leaves are an absolutely delicious side. Seared perfectly using the HexClad BBQ Grill Pan! It’s not always easy to find the right pan to use on a BBQ but the HexClad BBQ Grill Pan is nonstick (safe up to 482c), easy to clean and metal-utensil safe. I’m impressed!
Ingredients
1 kg Brussel sprouts (trimmed and washed)
1 medium Spanish onion, sliced
10 Kaffir lime leaves
2 tbs olive oil
Salt/pepper to taste
To Serve - Crispy Bacon
Method
- Wash and trim brussel sprouts.
- Add brussel sprouts, onion, kaffir leaves and seasoning to a bowl.
- Prepare your BBQ for grilling and preheat the Hexclad Hybrid BBQ grill pan.
- Add bacon to the HexClad grill pan and cook until crispy. Set aside and keep warm until needed.
- Add brussel sprouts to the grill pan and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them frequently.
- Serve immediately, topped with the crispy bacon and a drizzle of olive oil. Discard the kaffir lime leaves before eating (they’re there to impart flavour only!)
